By accessing or using the Snippy Seat application ("App"), operated by Snippy Seat ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including customers ("Users") and salon/stylist operators ("Sellers"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email.
Snippy Seat is a mobile platform that connects customers with salons, barbers, and independent stylists in India for the purpose of booking grooming and beauty services. The App allows:
Snippy Seat acts as a marketplace and is not itself a salon or beauty service provider.
To use core features of the App, you must register an account using a valid Indian mobile phone number or Google account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under it.
Sellers must provide accurate business information including:
Home-service seller accounts require manual verification and approval by our admin team before activation. Shop sellers are activated upon successful GST format validation.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate information.
A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation notification and booking ID. Confirmed bookings constitute a binding agreement between the User and Seller.
Users may cancel bookings subject to the following policy:
Sellers may cancel confirmed bookings in exceptional circumstances. If a seller cancels, the User receives a full refund and the seller may be subject to platform penalties.
Failure to appear for a confirmed appointment without cancellation within the permitted window is treated as a late cancellation and a warning is issued.
Users may pay for services either online through the App's integrated payment gateway or in person at the salon ("Pay at Shop"). Payment method must be selected at the time of booking.
Service prices are set by individual Sellers. Snippy Seat displays prices inclusive of applicable taxes. The following additional charges may apply:
Home service appointments are priced at approximately 60% higher than in-salon rates to account for travel and setup. This is clearly displayed before confirmation.
Sellers acknowledge that Snippy Seat deducts a platform commission (10–15% for in-salon services; 15% for home services) from each completed booking. Commission rates are visible in the Seller dashboard and earnings section.
Refunds for online payments are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Snippy Seat is not liable for delays caused by payment gateway or bank processing.
Sellers must maintain an active subscription (₹999/month) to remain listed on the platform. New sellers receive a 30-day free trial. Failure to renew subscription results in the seller's listing being hidden until the subscription is renewed. Subscription fees are non-refundable.
Featured listing and promotional placements are available as separate paid services and are subject to their own terms.

Reviews may only be submitted by Users who have completed a verified booking at the specific salon. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines or are determined to be fraudulent.
The Snippy Seat name, logo, and all content within the App are owned by or licensed to Snippy Seat and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary content without prior written permission.
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. SNIPPY SEAT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY SELLERS. SNIPPY SEAT IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SERVICES BOOKED THROUGH IT.
Snippy Seat's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Snippy Seat in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snippy Seat and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe:
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
